Centrally located in South East Asia, Singapore provides a gateway to the emerging and fast growing Southeast Asian market of 500 million people, and an Asian market of 2.8 billion. Though the main island’s total land area is only 682 square kilometers, Singapore has the busiest container port in the world and one of the best-connected airports in Asia, servicing over 60 airlines. The strategic location has helped Singapore to grow into a major centre for communications, trade and tourism.

With an open business policy and extensive preferential trade links, Singapore has also attracted more than 6000 multi-national companies to invest and benefit from the business opportunities offered in the region. This has made her a prime location for investments in the Asia Pacific region.
